Spread Your Wings Silver Project

Gwyn and Caitlyn's day to run the Butterfly Program went well.  It worked out that they did their programming on the last day of the "class."  They led the girls in some games to check for infomation learned about Monarchs and butterfly conservation.  They led them on a scavenger hunt.  The girls finished up the butterfly garden that the group built and planted.  And last but not least, a party!  Each girl got to decorate a butterfly cupcake, then they all received a pack of seeds and garden gloves as a prize for completing the program.  All the Cadettes worked hard and I know they were glad that this project was over, but they did such a good job!  And they all have a lot to be proud of!  Not only did they create programming, but also implemented it in a public school setting and left a sustainable butterfly garden behind for the school.  I'm so proud of them all!  The Silver Award is completed!  Now they can play for two years right?
