Gwyn's GS Troop has been working hard on their Silver Award. They worked in pairs to create a butterfly conservation curriculum that they then had to present and run with 4-5th graders at Padonia Elementary School. They all worked hard and did an amazing job.
Celee's troop decided to plant a garden around a sitting bench outside Wesley UMC for people to rest and find encourangement. Lots of people use this location as stopping points for walks, runs, and bike rides so they wanted to have a place for those people to find words of encouragement. So they placed pavers in front of the benches and the plan is to write words like "Hope" and "You are Beautiful" in chalk on the stones whenever they come there.
Our co-op, SCCK, had a talent show. It was a night filled with everything from singing, musical instruments, comedy, circus acts, hoola hooping, you name it. Their was also space for the students to display any projects they did throughout the year, so Celee and Lyla put their art up for display.
