Gwyn wanted a camping birthday party. So we cleared off a camping spot in the woods near the house and invited 12 of her friends over to party. Bless him, Evan was the lone boy in the sea of middle-school aged girls. They did have fun though. They cooked parns over the fire and made smores of course. They played flashlight tag and ran around in general. They played on the piano and sang and talked. They were up way too late, but thankfully they quieted down at least at a decent hour. I don't know what time they actually went to sleep, but they were all out at 7 when I had to wake one friend up to leave. Gwyn had a blast, and that's what mattered. And no one got seriously hurt! Win!
When did a child of mine learn to do duck lips?!
