Save Sandymount

     We went out and gave Sandymount Elementary a hug.  The school board has put forth some proposals to close certain schools in the county and Sandymount could be one of them.  It is the only elementary school in our area, is not in need of major renovations, and it projected to be one of the few schools to have student growth in the next five years so closing it doesn't make much sense.  So the community is rallying.  We don't have kids in Sandymount, but we see it's value to our community and the fiscal irresponsibility of closing it.  So we came to the rally to give our support.  Save Sandymount!

     I just thought this picture of Tinkerbell is cute.  She's not in a lot of our pictures anymore because she's getting old and just wants to sleep most of the time, but she is still there!  And she's still a cutie.
