Let's Build a Satellite!

     At NASA the kids all had to build satellites this time.  They had to plan out their design from multiple perspectives and make sure it met several guidelines.  It had to fit inside the "rocket" which was a box.  It had to have deploy-able "cameras."  It had to also not exceed 30 grams.  It was neat to see them all thinking up different designs and measuring out all their parts.  Then at the end everyone had to demonstrate their satellite for the rest of the group.  It is neat to see the kids having to work out things with different partners each time.  They are really working on more skills than just science-related ones.
