Cascade Lake

We started a Summer Fun Jar again.  The girls thought up a bunch of fun activities that threy'd like to do and we put each on a slip of paper into our jar.  Each week we pull one out and find a day to do that thing that week.  So this week it was Cascade Lake.

We'd never been to Cascade Lake before.  This is a really fun place!  Gwyn and Celee passed the swim test so they got to go out into the deep water where the floating rafts and jumping tower are.  It's a little scary to swim in deep water that you can't see through!  Lyla swam around in the shallow area and made due with the fun slides.  She even made a friend!  The girls got to play volleyball for a bit.  Gwyn Celee and I played frisbee for a while too, even though the frisbee kept going into water that you aren't supposed to go in.  

It was a fun day.  Really the first day that's felt like summer - to me anyway.  It was nice to soak up some sun and watch the girls play.  And now we know what a hidden fun place Cascade Lake is!
